Rotary Concentrators

In process applications with a very low concentration of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's) it may be appropriate to increase its concentration prior to treatment. Rotary Concentrators can increase air stream concentrations anywhere between 8 and 24 times its initial concentration. A more highly concentrated air stream is much more cost effective to treat as smaller oxidizing equipment and less energy is required to heat the air and destroy the organics.

Pollution System Solutions offers equipment which utilizes a Zeolite-based adsorption "wheel". Organic compounds are adsorbed from the primary air stream onto the Zeolite material and desorbed into a reduced air volume to increase its concentration. Some of the more common industrial applications include painting booths, oven production lines, circuit board manufacturing processes, semi-conductors, composites, fiberglass and halogenated vapors.
