Coating and laminating processes produce airborne waste that must be removed before releasing the exhaust into the atmosphere. Paints, coatings, solvents and laminates release vapor with varying levels of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and particulate when they are applied and as they are dried or cured.
Pollution Systems offers a full line of Thermal Oxidizers that can eliminate waste from the exhaust vapor. Using combustion to treat the pollutants from the exhaust stream, our Thermal Oxidizers are designed to minimize long term operating cost while meeting your compliance objective.
Paint, Laminates, and Coatings Pollution Systems
Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers (RTO) are used for vapor with lower VOC and particulate concentrations such as treating the air discharge from coating lines and ovens. They exhibit high energy efficiency and are low maintenance.
Recuperative Oxidizers are most effective for exhaust streams with higher VOC concentrations and when particulate may be an issue.
Catalytic Oxidizers are used with low, stable VOC concentrations, and may be used to treat the exhaust from some unique coating processes that do not contain particulate or catalyst poisons.
We provide full technical support for our systems for one year after installation. Pollution Systems offers mid-term and long-term Rentals of our Thermal Oxidizers for processing during new equipment installation or for pilot studies prior to the purchase of a new system.
