What is the Difference Between an Electric Oxidizer and a Thermal Oxidizer?

The Electric Catalytic Oxidizer (ERCO) is an air pollution abatement system that uses electricity as its energy source and a catalyst to oxidize polluting Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's).

The use of a catalyst in this system allows for oxidation of (VOC's) at a lower temperature, which translates to less operating costs and a longer equipment life.

Ideal for applications where particulate and catalyst poisons are not present and the concentrations of Volatile Organic Compounds are below 25% LEL, the ERCO provides a low-operating-cost alternative to using traditional energy sources and provides flexibility for facilities with limited equipment space (as it is a fully-enclosed system).
